Be aware that the MEUITM mod adds a new splash image, so be sure to re-delete/rename it again should you choose to install/reinstall it.

  • Delete or rename Splash.bmp, this prevents Borderless Gaming from making the splash window borderless, as this causes a crash for unknown reasons.
  • Compatibility mode for 7 (if you're running 8+) is fine, should you need it. Make sure you haven't set the game to run in compatibility mode for XP nor Vista, the former causes borderless to be glitchy and the latter leads to a crash.
  • Set the game to run in windowed mode in the in-game video settings, make sure it's set to the same resolution as your desktop.

7.3 Independent UI and dubbing/captioning.6.2 Simultaneous Mouse and joystick support for Steam Controller users. When compared to 2 which I'm now playing the difference is just so huge, it's a wonder what a few added polygons can do. Improved textures for sure, but those with the increased resolution just helps to underline the fact that the models are so basic. The cover system still sucks balls (just started on 2 and it's so much better) and while it is nice to have updated textures, do something about the geometry of the models too? As it is, you have people wearing textured wetsuits. EA/BioWare has gone beyond a simple resolution/frame rate bump, which is nice. And I do realize this is a "remaster" instead of a proper remake. Just finished the first game (well, not completely, but that's for another run). But because of being banned, I never got around to playing any of the DLC, which is why this was pretty much a no-brainer to pick up. I played these on a 360 that was modded and also banned because of that - I didn't think much of it at the time, it was cheap and single-player is mostly my thing so it's all good, right? Fallout New Vegas without any patches taught me a lesson.
